  1.  Preparing With Pre-approval

Before you begin building a new construction home, the first step is to be pre-approved by a lender. We work closely with preferred lenders who know our process through and through and offer programs to lock in competitive interest rates. That means you’ll still have that competitive rate even if interest rates rise while your home is being built. Getting pre-approved also helps us to understand your budget.   2.  Designing Your Dream

Determining what your dream home entails is an important step in the process.   3.   Finalizing Features

The fun is in the details. When building a new construction home with C.A. Jones, you have the ability to choose special features of your dream.   4.   Beginning the Build

After you’ve signed a contract on your plans, you can sit back and relax — we’ll do the rest. Our app BuilderTrend is an easy way for us to communicate and keep you updated on your home’s progress. As we’re working away on your new construction home, installing fixtures and painting cabinets, we’ll post photos day-of so you stay in the loop. As we near the end of home construction, we’ll begin the final stages: doing a walkthrough, getting your home appraised, and completing the usual paperwork for closing. From contract signing to move-in day, the building process takes about six to eight months.
